My youngest brother, Jared, opened his mission call yesterday!
He is going to Honduras! He had a dream the night before that he was going to Wisconsin so he was super nervous! Right before he was about to open it; he got really red and was almost shaking!

Of course, after he opened it we had to find a Honduran restaurant so we could keep the celebration going. We found 3 possible choices. The first was gone, the second didn't actually serve Honduran food (even though it said on it's website that it did) and the third place was a success. The menu was in Spanish, of course, and had no descriptions of what were in the meals. Me and Jared ordered the Honduran Dinner.
(scrambled eggs, beef, green bananas, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, avocado, beans, rice and tortillas)
It was really good. The scrambled eggs were a little random but I think Jared will live. When Brian got his call to Japan, we went out to an authentic restaurant and that was definitely harder to stomach. It's easier to survive on rice and beans. After dinner he bought a huge Honduran flag which is already hanging and a hat that he can wear to work.

(He doesn't look very happy because I made him smile while he was trying to eat.)
He leaves October 12th so he gets to hang around for 4 more months! Congrats Jared!
